I have a feeling that Marvel will actually be forced to do this within the next year or so. They've already done the same thing at least five or six times already, if not more.
Spider-Man always gets a friend to impersonate him, like with John Jameson, and everyone's satisfied. No questions asked. Too bad the Spider-clone's not still alive.

Hmm...Interesting theory, Bully.
More specifically, I think Flash is really the evil, resurrected, shape-changing, amnesiac Spider-Clone from Earth 612-B.
Just wait...time will prove me right on this one.
