MARSHALL ROGERS 1950 - 2007

This is one of my favorite comic book panels. Rogers was one of the few artists to ever make the Joker truly scary. I spent a few fondly remembered years of my childhood sleeping under sheets that bore this guys work. One of the last things I'd see every night before going to bed was this face staring up at me.

Since Oz went off the air, there's been a dearth of good shower room intimidation scenes. Of the comic variety, I can only think of two. The one during Brian Azzarello's Hellblazer run and this one, which I find to be simultaneously creepy and hilarious.
